Sonoma and Napa Valley Ca August 2014

We had a wonderful time last week in Sonoma & Napa Valley, Ca.  We roamed through 3 wonderful Vinyards  in one day.  We started off at Raymond's Vineyard,  Pine Ridge Vineyards, and Trefethen Family Vineyards.  We hadn't planned to do Raymond.  Our driver got the names on the list mixed up, but it wound up being a great experience, and they were happy to have us. Raymond is a whimsical vineyard outside, and inside is all stainless steel industrial feel.  You almost feel like your in at a night club.  

Pine Ridge was very laid back.  We sat outside it was warm, but not too warm mid 80's by the time we got there.  I really had a hard time picking my favorite wines, all tasted so good even the Zin which I'm not particularly a fan of.   

 Trefethen had also had great wines.  I loved their Chardonnay, and Cab.  It was a beautiful vineyard inside and out.  Almost had a log cabin type feel indoors.  

All in all I enjoyed all three Vineyards.  Here are a couple of pictures of the beautiful landscape, and such.  Enjoy and Cheers!! 

**I hope that all of the Vineyards are okay after the 6.0 Earthquake that happened early this morning.  Prayers to all the families!!**

Long Story Short.....Please take Note!!

Hello Everyone, Well it's been awhile since I've posted anything on here.  It's been pretty busy on the photography end lately.  I will be posting some of my favorite sessions from the last couple of months on here soon.  Summer is fast apporaching here in Florida...It's 2p.m. and it's a humid 94degress outside right now.  So glad I'm stuck in side today!! ;) I wanted to update y'all a little bit on my summer schedule.  I will as of June1st be taking a couple of months off. I don't normally talk about my personal life, but I wanted to share what's going on, and why I will be off for a couple of months!!

To make a "Long Story Short", I was born with a rare heart defect and I'm having my 6th Surgery. I'm having another Open Heart Surgery in June. I will be recovering for a week or 2 up in Boston (where I'm having my surgery), and once givin the okay I will be sent home to recover there.  I will not be allowed to drive myself or lift anything heavy for 3-4weeks.  I'm expecting I will be back up and running in mid August.  Please Note I will be OFF JUNE-JULY!!


So, if anyone is looking to book a session with me I am currently booking sessions for Mid August-September.  Please note that during my recover time, I will be limited to answering my voice mail  & emails.  I will get to them ASAP!! I appreciate your business, and Thank you for understanding!! Hope everyone has a wonderful summer and don't forget to take some pics!!

Whew been busy...

Hi y'all,
I've been pretty busy lately with editing, and being on vacation.  I have come up with two summer sessions this summer that I think you will just LOVE!!  You must book asap because spots do fill fast, and space and time is limited.  This is the perfect time to up date your family or children's photo's, or to gift yourself with a portrait session all do yourself.  If you are interested in booking a session please read details below, and when you contact me please let me know which session you are interested in.

Spring Has arrived...

Hi everyone,
Spring has arrived here in Central Florida.  It keeps teasing us with warm weather, then rain, then cool again, but I love this time of year because I'm not sweating my butt off yet. :) I love warm weather, but the humidity really get's to me.

I thought I'd share some photo's that I've taken so far this year.  I'll add in a couple of personal one's, and a few sessions with some sweet little ones as well.  If you follow my Face book page you can see more updates via my facebook fan page at Megan Ward Photography.



The first 3 are some personal photo's.  I Love going around town and shooting nature & different subjects.  The 2nd one down is a close up of my pup Lola.  I love how close I was able to get to her.

The 2 below here are of my Cousin's band 22 Blaac.  These too are personal, and I love going and watching them jam out.  Here's a couple from the last show here in Mount Dora. 

The last set you see below are some photo's I took while hanging out with one of my good friends Rach.  These are her twin girls.  They're so sweet and so fun to watch.

Mini Sessions are fun and full of color. Time to get out that sun dress, flip flops, easter bunny outfits, overalls, and get out doors. Let's get some color full outfits on and have some fun.

When: Sunday, April 10th, starting at 1:30p.m. and running in 30 min slots until 6:30p.m.

Where: Gilbert Park, Mount Dora

Cost: $45 + $35 for CD with 4-6 Photo's Edited

Details:
** I will have some props on hand, but feel free to bring your own.
** Payments are due before the session to ensure your spot.
**the session fee is non-refundable, but the session date can be rescheduled.
